So I’m re-reading Soul Eater and I just got to the part about all the requests that Soul gets. There’s something about it that has always bothered me- Why is he getting all the letters? First off, as I understand it, the EAT student’s purpose is partly to create a death weapon (other half being to hunt kishin), so why would he be desirable? Out the gate anyone else would have a part of their goal done for them, so partnering with him now would be a bit pointless. And then there’s his partner Maka who made him the damn thing to begin with. She should be getting more than him because she has proven herself to be an amazing meister who DID make a death weapon while he was basically just along for the ride.

I may be way off base on this, but I think the entire thing is backwards. To me it seems that the meisters do a good chunk of the work and the weapons reap most of the benefits. They are treasured for what their meisters did for them. I just can’t understand why the meisters and all they’ve done/can do is overlooked that way.

If possible, I’d like to hear everyone’s opinion on the subject. I could very well have missed/misconstrued something here, or possibly you all see something I maybe didn’t. Penny for your thoughts?

Two students, James and John were given a grammar test by their teacher. The question was, “is it better to use “had” or “had had” in this example sentence?”

The teacher collected the tests, and looked over their answers.

James, while John had had “had”, had had “had had.” “Had had” had had a better effect on the teacher.

Fun fact: this was actually a two story window prior to Morgan Freeman sitting on the windowsill. Once the house realized who he was, it retracted itself into the ground to prevent injury to Morgan Freeman.
